Pluto, Venus & Jupiter all are in the2nd,indicating good money and resourcefulness financially. Moon in Leo in the first shows a talent for acting as well as a good influence from the mother. Sun, Mercury, and Neptune are all in Scorpio in the 4th, indicating her twilight years will be very fortunate. Again, good home roots and good influence from mom apparent in Neptune's placement and Sun's placement in the 4th.Neptune in Scorpio however does indicate some perversity and interest in porn...Mars in the 6th seems to indicate most of her sexual interests are met through work, which she will never have a shortage of due to that Aries MC.

Julie has an Aries MC. Mars, the ruler of the MC, is trine jupiter and sextile her Sun. It's no wonder she has had such success and mass popularity. Julie also has her venus in virgo conjunct pluto. She may give a cool exterior, but this woman is really intense about love.

Plus, there all in the sign of Virgo - which sometimes has second thoughts about messing up their tidy lives with others.

People with only one Grand Trine are often interesting enough as it is, but Julia Roberts has two: Mars, Jupiter and Black Moon Lillith (9°42' Sidereal Aries/3°59' Tropical Taurus), and Neptune, Ascendant, Chiron. Mars-Jupiter people are ultra-competitive, super-confident, popular, enterprising and may be given to extravagance, brazenness, outspokenness, or extremism. Black Moon Lillith would be more than enough to add sensuality. These three planets make for a successful actress. Having Neptune aspecting the Ascendant brings pronounced sensitivity, emotional dependence on others, insecurity, a tendency for "making mountains out of molehills." But it also makes one sympathetic, compassionate, imaginative, idealistic, and perhaps even a little psychic. Throw in Chiron for finding inner healing through "pretending" isn't that what actors do for a living?

Julia's run-away bride syndrome is in the natal chart, but more so in the navamsa. Natally she has Cancer rising (in both zodiacs), so Capricorn is on the 7th cusp of partnership; Uranus is opposite 7th lord Saturn, and Mars is square Saturn. Venus is with three other planets (Moon, Jupiter, and Pluto,) all in Sidereal Leo. In Jyotish whenever Venus is conjoined or in aspect to several planets, it almost always points to many romantic entanglements.
In the navamsa chart Leo rises, and Uranus is in the 7th house. Venus is in Scorpio with Ketu (loss, renunciation) and Saturn. Simply put, Julia has a less than stable, committed Venus.
Julia's wealth: The 2nd house is cash flow, personal resources, and the 11th is gain. Julia has the tried and true Jyotish signature for wealth, the combination of 1, 2, and 11: The first lord (Moon) and the 11th lord (Venus) are in the 2nd sign with 9th lord (fortune) Jupiter. The 2nd is also the lower part of the face, and the Moon-Jupiter-Venus conjunction gives Julia her big, bright famous smile.
In the Tropical equal house chart the Moon-Jupiter conjunction straddles the 1st-2nd cusp, so doesn't seem to be so strong by house. With Jupiter, Venus, Pluto and Uranus in Virgo regardless of the house position, she would likely be a runaway bride. Virgo (Virgin) is the least likely to marry. Add to that their position in the second House colored by Leo, her self esteem and income would, not surprisingly, come from being on stage (movies). Her Scorpio Sun and Leo Moon says this one can dramatize her emotions and that there is a strong sense of purpose here with lots of security and love needs. She is learning to make her head rule her heart this time.
The Scorpio sun and Mercury add the sexuality to the mix. The Leo Moon indicates the draw to romance and affairs rather than marriage. The private, side of 4th House Neptune in Scorpio gives some feel for her commitment to compassionate use of her talents for families. (Charities)

Feisty independence: Sun midpoint of Mars-Jupiter trine within 2 degrees. This is a strong indicator that she would be very (Jupiter) fiesty (Mars) as a person (Sun). These three, the Sun, Jupiter and Mars, are all in trine/sextile within a tight orb of 3 degrees of each other. Please note also the very revealing Mars in Extreme declination (25 degrees South, well outside the 23 1/2 degree limit set by the Sun's extremities North and South). Hello,
How come I get a horoscope with ascendent on 17 58 Cancer when I make it in Solar Fire? All data the same, Atlanta, GA, etc. Is it the time: ET and EDT? Solar Fire has no ET time, the only with +3.00 is ADT (Atlantic Daylight Time)?! Horoscope naturally comes very different (not counting house system, of course).
Thanks for your answer (if some has time to write and send it).

Long time admirer of Ms. Roberts, and a 32 yr. professional astrologer, with a Ph.D., I REALLY find it difficult to see her as having Cancer on the ascendent. The astrological descriptors I've researched would suggest Leo ascendent. (See M.E. Jones writings as my primary source.) I've also met her and she is by no means 'shy'.

But she is very calm and balanced, thats the SUN in LIBRA.* * according to the sidreal zodiac.
