Sun-Uranus conjunction perfect for an eccentric. Add Mars-Uranus conjunction in Aquarius for inventiveness. Virgo rising with Moon-Pluto opposition for phobia about germs.

Isn't that Mars conjunct Saturn?

And Mars is also square Jupiter.

I think it is this Saturn/Jupiter/Mars that gave him a lot of problems.  Mars is fear.  This is the kind of aspect you see a lot in the charts of violent murderers, strange that here he seems to be turning it in on himself, I wonder if there is something in the chart to indicate that he turns this on himself rather than others?

Was he really syphilitic?  Is that proven, as historical figures were often so labelled wrongly.  The homoeopathic miasm of syphilis is interesting, and linked with control, and in the past century seems strong in spite of the disease apparently disappearing.  What a lot of wealth just because your dad co-invented a tiny machine part!

What an interesting guy!  And what a strange era in a strange country, to have that sort of wealth to cushion somebody against that kind of falling apart inside?

It's a dirty date (DD) so tricky but Mars isn't fear, Saturn is..Mars is drive and motivation blocked conjunct Saturn but when handled well very hard worker, here in the house of health in connection with the Nodes...And a real 'violent' real hard configuration is usually Mars-Saturn-Pluto..Pluto in the 10th = confronting and tansforming the society or wider community...absolute power also..If he had syphilis that must have slowly affected his nervous system: Mercury (Gemini MC for the world to witness) This chart also has a lot of angularity but we never know if it is his..Eccentricity is definitely Sun-Uranus.

A virgo ascendant; no surprises there. Angular features, and his hypochondria.
